Aimee is a Navy and Airforce Veteran, as well as a 3rd generation livestock producer that owns Overland Lamb in southern Michigan. She produces lamb on a 100% grass-fed intensive rotational grazing system for whole animal, value added products. She also produces a variety of fresh produce on her farm, packaged for long-term storage and emergency distribution. For many years Aimee has served as a beginning producer mentor for small farmers in several states and has worked in numerous countries examining various production practices. Aimee holds an MS in Community Sustainability from Michigan State, focusing on localized livestock value chains; an MA in Cultural Geography and Ag History from Arizona State focusing on the intersection of commodity mineral extraction and indigenous livestock production; and an MFA in Intermedia from Arizona State focusing on global fiber production value chains in remote global communities.
